I think I am going to get my ear lob pierced in the summer! But I dunno if it will look good is there anything that I need to know about thanks! Also does it hurt?!?! Thanks 💜

It didnt hurt that much for me, but everybody's pain tolerance is different. Remember to keep them clean and twist them a few times a day so they don't grow into your ear. Also make sure you always get hypoallergenic earrings to keep from getting infections.

Never twist The earring. it reopens The wound everything you do that and takes longer to heal. try to find a saline spray to clean The piercing with.

@candi that's not true you're supposed to twist the earring twice a day

It doesn't matter! Swim whenever usually they say a week but I always swim anyway that shouldn't be a problem just twist them everyday it doesn't re open the wound it just keeps it from covering over the piercing. Trust me thats a nightmare on my 4th hole I didn't twist them an they grew over and I had to rip them out anyways you'll be fine! There no pain at all

Don't go get it done at Claire's with the piercing gun. Getting it done with the gun is blunt trauma to your lobe, and it takes longer to heal, and is more likely to get screwed up. Go to a real piercing place and get it done with a needle, much better in the long run.

Don't go to a kiosk in a mall or Claire's or anywhere that pierces with a gun. Go somewhere like a tattoo parlor that will use a (brand new!) needle that they will open in front of you.
