I've only had regular manicures at my school (I'm in beauty school) and yesterday I got my first real manicure and it was a no-chip. I like it but I hear a lot about gel nails now. I was wondering if it damages your real nails and if its something you would recommend.
Any help would be appreciated! :)

I had them done for a year straight and didn't have any damage done to my natural nails. I love gel so much!

Do not! I had them once and my nails were ruined. They all broke and bled and took forever to grow back. Never again!

I love I get them done every 2-3 weeks you don't have to worry about the chipping. They do make your nails a little weak when it's off but the gel strengthens them
