Thing to do for Spider Veins??

I'm 14 and I'm getting spider veins. My Mum says they're barely noticeable but I'm really worried, that they'll get bigger and I won't be able to wear togs or shorts again without feeling really embarrassed. Please, is there anything I can do for them to make them go away (without being to expensive) or not be as noticeable??

Someone told me to put Vaseline on them! I tried it and it worked for me.
