Body Acne Scars

I've recently started using the Murad Spray coupled with the Neutrogena body wash to fight acne. My acne is hormonal, cropping up every two weeks. The problem is the scarring it causes leaves behind marks until the next cycle, so it never truly disappears and I'm left with small brown and light pink spots. I am going to start taking Evening Primrose supplements, since that is suppose to help with hormonal acne. Does any one have any advice on how to keep away body acne and scars? I've been using the Murad spray for about a week, and reviews I've read says it takes about 3 weeks to really see results.

I love Evening Primrose! If you're taking them orally you can also break open the capsule and put the oil directly onto your body. I have a few suggestions, vitamin e oil is good for fading new scars. If these are old scars then I would try something else. Mederma works amazing for fading scars but it takes about 4-6 months to work. I heard that putting pure coconut oil on acne scars works amazing and I'm actually trying that for myself right now. Keep using the Murad spray for a few more weeks and see if you like it, if not then I would try something else. I hope this helped!

Thanks so much! I didn't know I could use primrose on my body! And they're all only about a month old, from my last period at the beginning of March. With the coconut oil, do you go to sleep after you put it on or just let it sit and then rinse it off? I always have some on hand so I will definitely give it a try!

No problem, yes primrose is great for your body, it's very nourishing and has anti-inflammatory properties. I would use it on my skin when I would get an allergic rash. And yes you can leave coconut oil on your skin. I put it on in the morning and at night before I go to bed. At first it's a bit oily so let it soak into your skin for about 10 minutes before putting any clothing on.
