Hair spray!! Put some hair spray in them, then brush them back.

Brushing them down won't exactly work. Try spraying some hairspray on your hand and rubbing it between your fingers and lightly apply it to the baby hairs. You could even straighten them down if you want with a flat iron.

I have that, and what I do, is put hairspray on them, then bobby pin them down at night. Then in the morning I straighten them because the bobby pins leave dents.

I have them too, except they get super curly and annoying :/

You can spray some hairspray on a comb and brush them flat; this hasn't worked that well for me but I don't think I used enough hairspray. You can also ask your hairstylist about a hair wax, root mask, or some other kind of product that will smooth them down without giving a greasy effect.

But don't worry about! It doesn't look strange, and most people won't notice (they're too busy worrying about whether other people are noticing their insecurities).

I use gel or mousse, yes I know gel is very sensitive when you rub it but keep your fingers away and don't by the generic kind of mousse like white rain, it doesn't stay on long. I cut my baby hairs a long time ago and they are just now growing and standing up, so it's a pain. I regret it a lot though.

I had the same problem. I tried everything but I get a new straightener (chi) and it did the trick.
