^that would cause 'skinny fat' meaning you'll look skinny but your skin will be flabby. I recommend having a larger portion of each meal. Don't eat any junk food, eat regularly I guess. You don't have to exercise, but if you want to gain muscle do some strength training, or small muscle workouts at home like squats, wall sits etc.

I'm trying to gain 10 pounds too. I started with the healthy gaining weight plan but I got lazy and now I eat about 6 bagels with cream cheese a day and its really unhealthy but its working lol.

Eat more healthy snacks that are high in calorie (granola, avocado, nuts, dried fruit). Maybe download the myfitnesspal app to track your calories. Don't fill up on junk, you don't want to get flabby. My suggestion would be to to light strength training/toning exercises 4x a week.

You don't look skinny. You are nice and slim. Eat lots of protein while you are working out. This is a healthy way of gaining weight.

Eat a lot of protein, like... A LOT and carbs. Don't try to eat unhealthy things to gain weight and when you work out do less cardio more muscle building.

There is a drink called ensure sold at walmart in the health section that I drink everytime I want to put on weight and that works for me!! Its a healthy option to add to your diet wheb you just arent able to over eat, its like slim fast for skinny people!! lol.

Girl please! I would kill to have your body I'm also "too" thin for my liking I have two kids and people call me lucky (but for those who don't understand why us skinnies want to gain weight we do go through self esteem issues being "too'' thin) and say I should be proud but I look sick. my ideal weight is where yours is. I have chicken legs lol.

Just eat healthy and continue going to the gym. Your body probably isn't just designed to gain a lot of weight. I know for me I can pretty much eat anything I want and rarely work out but I don't gain weight. The more you continue to work out the more you will tone your body and gain more muscle. When you get more muscular it makes you "gain weight".

Yep, weight training, but you're going to have to find a good amount of weight for you that will actually help you gain muscle. If you pick too light of a weight you will not really gain muscle, but you will get toned.

Manal is right.. I've had the same prob, I can't gain weight unless I'm pregos lol and that's not the weight I'm looking for.. Just do what she said, eat healthy and a bigger portion and snack in between.. I do this but for me it's not working but may work for you:)
