Last summer I used Sun In to lighten my hair, and my hair went from dark brown to basically blonde after several uses of it. But I found that it dried out my hair and created a bit of breakage. I dyed my hair back to brown a few months ago, but I really want to go light again! Can someone give me some hair lightening product suggestions?(:

You may want to check out a color stripping product then lighten the roots and tone the rest. It seems like a lot of steps but I think it's better than lightening your hair again.
Whenever you're going that much lighter, you're going to have to use something that will dry everything out. It's the maintenance that will determine the condition of your hair. As long as your lightening process isn't too crazy, weekly deep conditioner + some kind of oil daily (biosilk, Moroccan oil, etc) would be good!

Forgot to mention my answer to your actual question: bleach is the most instant result lightener...if I'm not mistaken, doesn't lemon take a few applications (more time)? But it is cheaper!!

Bleach. basic white 2 is my favee. if you want white blonde, try 30 or 40 volume cream developer. or if you just want to lighten a little use 20 volume.

To avoid major damage by plain lemon juice, use a 1:1 ratio of juice and water, then put it in a spray bottle and use that. Still should moisturize a lot too.
