Liquid eye liner need help ASAP.

Ok so I always try to do liquid eye liner but it always turns out bad! I can't get a nice straight line and make it thicker as I go oh and how long should my wing be? here are my eyes.

Try sitting at a desk with a mirror in front if you! Your elbow needs to rest on something at about waist or chest level so you have a steady hand! Always have wipes (baby wipes, makeup wipes) just in case you make a mess you should clean it up fast before it dries up. That's the problem with liquid liner ):
