Try wrapping it up at night to avoid tangles...with a scarf!
There's also spray in conditioners that work to untangle your hair as soon as you put it in!

When your hair is wet, finger comb it with some hair tamer. If you comb or brush your hair, you're tugging on wet strands, so when your hair dries the pulled strands will shed and tangle up during the day.
