I have an oily face mostly and a little bit of shine. Its starting to annoy me and I don't know how to make it go away for awhile, along with these tiny pimples/ pimple scars.

Every morning and night was your face thoroughly with clean and clear or some type of cleanser that does not have oil in it and scrub it on your face, then wash off with warm water. Dab off water with a towel. Then put on a moisturizer if you have one. If you have an oil free moisturizer it would be perfect!

Mix your make up with cornstarch! Like your powders! It soaks up the oil

I use urban decay "de-slick in a tube" (gel) and/or the "de-slick" compressed powder. Both are great for shine control :) xoxo.

Try using toner in your daily face wash routine. It removes oil. And for pimples add a spot treatment. I do it every night!

I have been having good results with apple cider vinegar two times a day on clean skin. I just use a cotton ball to apply it. If it irritates you at all, only leave it on for two minutes and then rince it off. Honey masks work well for acne to.

I have been using something really good for the past two weeks. My best friend has been using something for over a month for oily skin under make up. You won't believe how GooD the stomach medicine Phillips milk of magnesia works as a base to keep your make up shine free.! So serious! A good and cheap beauty secret.

Go to a dermatologist, it's so worth it! I have the same problem and a combo of topical gel and antibiotics are helping lots! Also cetaphil oil control with a washcloth is a great cleanser =) hope this helps!

Exfoliate, I use st. ives apricot scrub and a lighter exfoliating scrub from oil of olay, then I moisturize night and morning with st. ives oil free collagen elastin moisturizer that reduces wrinkles, evens out skintone and doesn't clog pores, plus I use MAC's oil control lotion with their matchmaster foundation and their oil blot pressed powder. I am super oily and with my rountine/makeup I can go all day and night without ever getting greasy or shiny anymore!

The Porefessional primer from Benefit is helpful to me. I'll put this just on my t zone under my Bare Minerals make-up. I also use blotting sheets several times daily.

Milk of magnesia works wonders! Yes it is a liquid laxative but it reduces the amount of oil that is produced on the face. Make sure you shake the bottle before each use.
