I have super dry skin everywhere and little red bumps or under the skin bumps all over. I've been to a dermatologist and just got told today that they can't help and have no idea what's going on. Its been like this for about 6 years. If anyone has any ideas of what could work, lotions, or at home remedies I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I've tried looking it up. I've tried eczema lotions, steriod creams from doctors, cetphil lotions, expoliating, and acne creams.

They are not really itchy but due to being so enflamed they are painful. I've also been tested for allergies but had none.

Thats what the doctor thought so she gave me the low dose steriod cream but it seemed worse after that. I'm at a loss of what to do now or to try.

I'd get a second opinion from another dermo. Especially since the first one was clueless...and for her just blindly give you a script that did more harm than good...shame on her.

I used go have real bad skin best thing I ever did was just every night simply steam my face and then put germolene on every night, it's quick cheap and easy and in about two weeks you could see a massive difference because of all the antiseptic chemicals that's in the cream and stuff did my skin good

What is germolene? And where can I find it. Thank you for all the help and ideas.

Take 1 cup of oatmeal,1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1 tbsp of vanilla extract blend it together and put paste on your bumps...let it sit for 30 mins then rinse off in shower:)

Thank you for the idea Leah. Oatmeal does seem to soothe it but I can never seem to soak enough. This might help. What does the vanilla do?

I've heard that kind was good but my doctor kept telling me not to use it and use cetphil. Which didnt work. I will definitely look into this cream. I'd forgotten about that brand thank you.

Haven't read everyone's responses, but try tea tree and almond oil after washing. Wear something to soak it all in. Leggings, tank perhaps. Take your cod liver oils! All about natural ingredients

Someone else mentioned tea tree also. Thank you for the help.
