What's the best way to apply coconut oil to hair?

I've just bought extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil and I'm not sure what's the best to apply it. Advice?

You can apply it in the shower like conditioner, you can use it like a detangler on damp hair, and you can apply to dry hair to minimize frizzy and add shine!

I like to apply it when my hair has been slightly towel dried after the shower so it not dripping wet but damp. I use my nail to scrape 2-3 clumps from the jar, put in my palm and let it melt then I run my hands together and run in through my hair. I do this specifically after showering because the hair cuticle is more receptive and has been opened up so it can absorb the nutrients of the oil! Hope it helped xx ps a little goes a long way, I have thick Afro kinky hair so I tend to use quite a bit to combat dryness if you have a more silky texture I would make focus on your ends and maybe 1-2 scrapes of the oil for the body of your hair depending on the length.

Coconut oil need to be applied twice or three Times a week, during night , before you wash your hair :) it has better effects on your hair I promise :) ( sorry for my bad english am french ^^)
