My lips are super dry an I'm really annoyed because my lips are always super soft. I exfoliate my lips just as much as I exfoliate my face (1x a week) maybe more but they've been super dry and I can't seem to fix it. I use rose petal oil on my cuticles to keep them moisturized so I was wondering if that would help with my lips too? Or is there anything I should try to keep my lips soft?

Chapstick..?

I have really dry lips, I recommend wetting a toothbrush (one you won't use on your teeth later) and lightly scrubbing off the dead skin in your lips, then, while they're still damp, apply cream. I use a rose petal salve. And drink lots of water :)

Baby lips is crap honestly I have this same problem and I use Monistat chafing powder relief gel as my face primer but I use it on my lips too and at night I put this on my lips and it really works its better than Chapstick I think because its made to fix chapped dry skin- that being said the only Chapstick I use now is an unscented or flavored plain clear white petroleum Chapstick and this is really thick and will coat your lips in almost like a protective layer- you can use any brand Chapstick has one however I just use a generic one I picked up at Winn Dixie forever ago and it's my favorite ever since- also you can try medicated Chapstick's too but, they've never really worked for me-but I don't think I used them religiously like I do now. Also I exfoliate my lips a lot- almost every time before I apply lipstick, and you can exfoliate them with sugar, your damp toothbrush, a wet washcloth, or a lip exfoliator (like the one from elf works pretty good).. Also coconut oil or plain vitamin e oil at night will do wonders just try not to get it in your mouth so apply it right before you fall asleep. I've never personally tried rose petal oil although I do know rose salve balm is very popular so I would assume it would probably have the same effect but I don't know. I'm sorry I wish I could help more because I have the same problem and its hard bc I put so much effort into trying to moisturize and exfoliate them and feel like it doesn't really make a difference, so I feel for ya! :/ xo.

I use EOS and I love them but I find they work best to keep your lips soft but they don't make them soft if that makes any sense but thanks everyone :)

The reason so many people don't like these lip balms is because so many of them have saylacilic acid in them (what's in acne creams and medicines to dry out your skin) which dries out your lips but just not too much just enough so you keep buying their products... But that's why they don't work if you already have dry lips or are trying to moisturize them. EOS and baby lips are way overhyped products & personally EOS is just junk it doesn't work at all at all but I'd rather use babylips but if it came down to it I wouldn't and don't use either of them anymore! Lol but hey- that's just my personal opinion!
