There's no harm with showing her youtube videos she enjoys but when it comes down to it, if she does her make-up this way it's because she wants to. People wear make-up for different reasons and for some people it's an expression of art and creativity - Maybe that look doesn't accentuate her features as other looks might but it's very creative - Maybe that's what she wants?
Not everyone wants to be neutral and natural - We're all here for our own reasons :)

I don't think wearing your make up a certain way means you like it. Well I mean of course you do, but it could be because you don't know any better. I remember when I was 12 or 13 and first started wearing make up.. I would've been so happy if someone kindly showed me how to do it differently. Think about the really horrible outfit or hairstyle memories you have.. would you not have done something different if someone would've told you it was just funky? And not funky in a good way?
