Okay girls summer is coming up & the bikini area needs to be gone lol. I'm tried of shaving it grows back so fast and I get those little red bumps that pop up and its uncomfortable Has anybody tried waxing? If so how was Your experience and do you recommend it?? I just bought a GIGI kit but I'm thinking about taking it back. I'm pretty scared on doing it myselfz.

I wax all the time! But I suggest you go to a professional, especially since it's your first time. Don't do it alone, my mom tried, and she got a huge bruise going through her bikini area. Though a defs recommend it, go to a salon!

If your going to wax it yourself you need to fully commit to ripping that strip off as fast as you can and make sure you're gripping it tight enough. And go against the grain! I attempted to do a Brazilian on myself only once and only managed to get the front part done because I was scared and didn't take the strips off fast enough and it just pulled. It effing hurt

My suggestion honey, is to go to a salon! I am an esthetician and do lots of waxing. and belieeeve me, it's Not something you want to experiment with. I do my own and it's not easy for me. take some extra strength Tylenol before you go ; )

OH my gosh you guys are awesome thanks or responding:) yeah it's my first time I just live in such a small town that no shops around does this kind of thing:( or trust me I would had went long time ago hahah. So I think il prolly be doin it on my own😁if I do it at all lmao. I been doing more research on it to learn how to do it the best way step by step. But again thanks guys:)

As a professional I would say go to a professional don't do it yourself as it is so easy to leave the wax on for too long and then your in trouble x

I wouldnt on my own I an esthetician so I do brazilians I also wax my own and the quality of wax sold at a retailers is deff not as gently on the skin but if you do I recommend you starting outing out with hard wax because it doesn't stick to your skin and easy to use just when you apply it go in the direction of hair growth and bring it past hair on skin becuase you will have to flick the wax up to pull it off instead of using a strip.

It is painful, but it is different for everyone.just depends on your skin sensitivity doing Brazilian is impossible to do urself lol.you can do bikini urself , which I've had, which was super painful ha, and I really didnt see much of a change in the red bumps. I do waxing for a living so I know its not comfortable for most, but your rippin hair out your body its not pleasant lol.
