Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me cancel out darkness I have on my upper lip and chin I am medium tone with cool undertones..not sure what products to use Thanks xx

Yellow concealer. Since yellow and purple are on opposite sides of the color wheel they cancel each other out. If the darkness is more blue, use peach. It instantly brightens the face. You can buy color-correcting primer (smashbox has some great ones) or concealer. You can make color correctors too.
For peach: mix some orange lipstick into a concealer.
For pink: (this works the same way as peach) mix some pink lipstick.
For yellow: it's easier to find a yellow concealer than to make one. (:

After color correcting, apply your regular concealer or foundation.

I have the same problem around the area of lips I used smash box pink primer but it was waste of money as the primer more into light cover and may suit girls with fair skin tone not medium. what worked for me is the pink corrector from makeup forever and the peach corrector from bobbi brown. yellow based good coverage foundation worked for me but warm undertone not cool. try not to use lighter shades of foundation as it will turn ashy on the area. make sure to remove facial hair on the upper lips if you have any it helps looking better, hope it's helpful :)

I usually wear mac foundations I'm an NC30 and tried mixing a pink concealer with my NW25 concealer but it made it look ashy and really cakey

Do you mix the correctors together and then apply the foundation on top? X.
