I'm wondering what thrifty beauty tips you have tried and do they or do they not work?
Recently I've tried using half a cup of Epsom salts in my hair care routine. I starting notice a build up of product in my hair, especially at the roots. Using half a cup of Epsom salts on wet hair, I massaged it into my scalp and then shampoo and conditioned as usual. My hair feels so much lighter, looks healthier and as a bonus, Epsom salts only cost me $2.50 where I am in New Zealand! Bonus :)
So what are yours?

Soaking your nails in warm water and a tad bit of lemon juice will take away staining caused by not wearing a base coat under dark coloured nail polishes.

2 cups of water, 1/2 of apple cider vinegar is another good way to cleanse hair.
Extra virgin olive oil, baby oil, grapeseed oil, or whatever oil you fancy can be a cheap and easy way to remove makeup.
Putting your wet finger nails in a bowl of cold water and ice will dry them quickly and completely.

Every week, I mix 1 egg, 1 cup of mayo, some honey, vinegar, and Argan oil and I slather it in my hair. I leave it in for about 2 hours, rinse it out, and then put in Miss Jessie's Super Sweet back Treatment to get rid of the smell(smells like cherry ice cream ^ ^!) and for extra deep conditioning. My hair ALWAYS looks shiny, feels strong, and smells yummy! ^ ^!
