So I have this dinner-get together thing for a surprise birthday party. Its semiformal.
Ideas for makeup, hair and outfit?

I'm not good with semiformals haha..

Wear jeans, but nice jeans, and a nice cute blouse. So your doing formal with your top but semi with the jeans. I'd do white jeans. Loose curls would be good and braid your bangs back or clip them back or something and I think any makeup is fine!
