All of those smell really obviously of fake tan though! are there any that don't give themselves away with the smell?

I would prefer something subtle rather than something really obviously fake.

I use jergens and the new formulation doesn't have an obvious fake tanner smell.

I use jergens too. The three day one. I think it's new, I 'll post a picture. I'm pretty fair to medium complexion and I got the one for tan to dark complexions, and It makes me pretty tan without being orange- it's more of a brown color, and it isn't greasy, plus it doesn't have a gross fake tan smell. I actually really love the smell of this stuff. The only downside for me is that I use it everyday and since it's only four onuces I go thru it pretty fast. I do also like the gradual tanner from coppertone, the color is about the same and this one doesn't leave much of a smell either (which is my biggest pet peeve) Hope this helps! xo.
