So, I have reAlly dry hair but that gets oily if I don't wash it like every day, but I do wash it every day and I know it drys it out but I have to, and my hair is short like shoulder length, and I have dyed my hair a couple of times etc...so it is really damaged and I have split ends! I really want y hair to grow longer, but I can't afford to get a trim! Help!!

Trim the dead ends yourself. And rinse your hair everyday but don't wash. Also since your hair is very damaged an dry I would purchase a hair mask rather than an oil because hair masks you keep on for a few hours then wash out, apposed to putting an oil in your hair every day. A great hair mask I use for my hair (same hair type as yours) is Shea butter! I leave it in a bun overnight and in the morning it's amazing! It's soft, feels healthy and smells godly. Hope this helped!

Don't buy a hair mask, homemade is so much better and cheaper! Coconut oil does wonders, I melt about 1/4 cup of that, mix it with 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, egg and 1 tablespoon honey and let that sit as long as you like, even over night if you want! And for the oily hair, try a Apple cider vinegar rinse. It cleanses but doesn't strip hair or leave it dry. Also, try to avoid hair products, especially really cheap ones, they can really dry out and damage hair!
