I've found that after about 3/4 hours my foundations has kind of worn off and it just looks like a dry unpleasant mess. I have oily skin, but when I look in the mirror the foundation looks dry and uneven. I use smashbox photo finish primer and Revlon colorstay theb rimmel stay matte. how can I fix this?

Use a really good primer.

Well there are a few ways.
1) Cleanse really well in the morning and follow with a toner.
2) Use a BB cream (lightly) as your primer/moisturizer.
3) Try a different foundation. I use Covergirl's Clean in oil free and it stays all day!

Or you can make your own. go look on YouTube and see what you can find. I found that using cornstarch over my liquid foundation.

Wow, I use exactly what your using, the reckon color stay can emphasis your dry skin , so you might have combination oily and dry skin. I suggest using a moisturizer before your primer. And maybe use a setting spray like urban decay de-slick or all-nighter.

I agree with Hannah. Get a good setting spray. The Mac one is supposed to be really good.
