Hi,

I originally had combination skin and acne prone skin. Basically, my nose and forehead were oily and the rest normal. But about 2 months ago my skin got dry all of a sudden, even got rashes and I had to change my routine and stop wearing matifying cream.
It has been about a month and a half now and my skin is now mostly dry on my cheeks and chin and kind of normal on my nose and forehead.
I'm 18 , and I strictly have no idea why my skin changed like this.

Maybe because the matifying cream should've only been worn on the areas that were oily. Since you said the rest of your face was normal maybe putting the cream on it really dried it out, but it helped the areas that needed it. This is a really good moisturizer for dry skin. Put this only on the dry areas so it'll help, but make sure to keep it away from anything that's normal because then the same thing will happen only the opposite & you'll have oily spots again. Hope this helps :) this just helps to let you know from now on to only use stuff where it's needed.

My dermatologist recommended this moisturizer and you can use a super tiny amount to make it go far, it worked great for me, and you can use this cream on hands or arms an legs too, it's the best moisturizer I've used, definitely worth trying! You can find it at Walgreens or cvs. Even some walmarts carry it :)

It isn't the mattifying cream I've used it for years. I remember now that it is after I tried my new AVENE face wash that dried out my face. But , after 2 months is it normal that my skin isn't back to the way it was? I feel like its going to stay this way and I liked the way my skin was before.
Btw, I live in France so I'm not sure these are available here but thank you for your help
