It's hard to tell without looking at your eye straight on, because from both angles it would be easy to mask imperfections. As far as your eyeshadow goes, when you post a picture to the public, be ready for every opinion. I think the false, lashes would be accentuated by eyeshadow that was blended a little better and not so harsh.
