I would like to know what TYPE o eyeliner is best for the waterline top and bottom. Gel? Kohl pencil? Retractable and self sharpening? Liquid liner? Which is the best at application?

I use a pencil liner by Annabelle in Night Black on my waterline and top lash line. it stays on pretty well and the color is great. I also love the Black Ink Velvet Liner by GOSH.

I've had really good luck with tarte emphasEYES and the Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool. Like Velen suggested, pressing black eyeshadow into the liner sets it wonderfully and looks amazing (my super sensitive eyes won't let me do this... I cry it out five minutes later).

I've used many n wet n wild liquid stays on well.rimmel eyeliner stays on well,mally bullet proof liner also.its so hard to find one that stays

I've been using Barry am pencils for years, I've had moments where I've had a sample of something else but I've always gone back to Barry m. completely smudge proof <3 and for under a fiver you can't go wrong! if you prefer to spend more on your makeup I found benefit waterproof pencil amazing.

@Lolli I live in the UK and get them in boots and superdrug. They do have a online store which Velen has just posted 💜
@Velen I use the standard kohl pencil. I find them amazing last all day, even used it to do my cat eye flick yesterday, worked a charm and the are only £2.99

For my eyelid I use Rimmel's gel liner. I find this product the easiest to apply for me and it does not budge, which is a first because I have oily lids. In the waterline I use nyx slide on eyeliner and I find it works fine.

Wow ladies you are all amazing!! I looked at that too faced tool today it looks cool. I may try it. I bought Palladio self sharpening one and w urban decay potion under it and all Nighter over. It stayed beautifully. ELF has a setting liquid that I'd love to try too. All applied with a thin brush :)

Waterline I use Urban Decay in "perversion" and for the lid I either reach for Bobbi Brown gel liner or Wet n Wild liquid liner.
