It should say on the bottle. But just watch it after you put it in. It depends how light you want it and how quickly your hair takes to it. I would check every 5 minutes or so. My hair bleached very quickly (I went from brown to light blonde in under 30 minutes) where as my sisters hair took an hour to lighten from dark brown to just a light brown.

When you put the bleach in you will be able to see your hair changing color so when you see the color you want take it out.

I will say for 30 minutes I hade dye my hair red & I bleach it to I felt it for 30 min.
