It like a French braid almost except you take smaller sections that are the closest pieces of hair to the face and add them to the braid. And not all the hair is in the braid sometimes.
I can do it to my hair and take a picture if you want.

Go onto YouTube and check out the knotted headband braid, it looks amazing and is quite easy, also check out the Chinese staircase. That one is also very easy once you get the hang of it
