So, I usually sweep on highlighter everyday, but I only use bronze to contour when I have more time. Anyone else highlight w/o contouring?

I do! I don't feel it's necessary to always contour especially in day time but I love how highlighting makes my skin glow! I only lightly highlight though

On me it kinda looks unfinished if I don't contour with the highlight.

I personally always do both -- but if you are going for a lighter look then it would prob look heavy -- I think it can look good but it's not necessary :) xo

No! You don't have to do anything lol. Some days I only highlight and skip the contour, some days I contour and don't highlight, but most days I do both. Whatever you prefer :)

Agree with some of the other girls. You don't have to do one if you do the other.

I personally don't like the way highlighting looks on me. I only contour :)

Just a little but it kinda depends on the color of the contour.. but if you just absolutely have to contour then no highlight

Thank you everyone, I'll continue highlighting because I love the way it looks glowy =) Contour when I have time lol.

I usually try to do both, but in a pinch I will always at least highlight.

I'm pale enough that I can just highlight and it gives a subtle glow. To be quite honest, I've never felt that contouring looks good on me. It looks nice in photos, but in real life my face looks muddy/dirty.
I think which steps you can or can't omit depend on your own coloring and facial structure. But I've never seen highlighting without contour look bad, as long as it's subtle and with a light hand.
