Good drug store eyeliners I still have not come across, unfortunately, but I am very familiar with the bad ones. Wet n Wild Mega Last is simply awful. It's like trying to get a pen with no ink to work! Maybelline Define-A-Line has very rich color but doesn't stay on more than 20 minutes without smudging. Surprisingly, it works extremely well blended onto your eyelids as a matte eyeshadow.

I LOVE the Maybelline Line Stiletto! It's a felt tip liquid liner that is super easy to apply. And I also love the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner! Super pigmented and smooth. :D I hope that helps!

I agree with Bria J. !!! the Milani Liquif'eye eyeliner has to the BEST liquid eyeliner!! Lasts alot longer than any other liquid eyeliners ive tried!!!

For creme/gel I recommend e.l.f.'s Studio Cream Eyeliner. It's super creamy, lightweight, pigmented and long-wearing, and it really is so fluid that application is a breeze. For liquid, I recommend NYC New York Color's High Definition Liquid Eyeliner - it's a fine point felt-tip marker, so it's incredibly easy to use, it's richly pigmented and it wears all day and night without transferring or fading.

i'm not one for colored liners really, but for GREAT black liner, definitely try the l'oreal extra-intense liquid pencil liner. same concept as the milani liquif'eye, but this doesn't smudge on me like the the milani one, plus it seems to be blacker in swatches!
