That is true Nicole :D And Michie, me too! I'm gonna feel so much better with my braces and LOL i don't compare teeth with long or short hair so that doesnt matter cause everyone is beautiful with or without braces! Thanks girls!

Hi :) I have clear braces so I feel they look better than the metal ones because no one notices them as much. As much as we feel pain and think that we are going to have a beautiful smile at the end of the braces jouney.

I am super self conscious about my teeth and then I got braces. I smile without my teeth, but longer hair and braces I think look better. I feel better with braces, honestly. I love the fact that my teeth will be straight soon... ish :)

I'm just getting my braces off today! When wearing lipstick make sure to not put gloss on top and to always remove extra because the makeup gets on your teeth so easily. Rock the color and have fun with your teeth correctors! :)

when i had my braces it was better either having nothing on your lips lip balm or a clear or light coloured/colored gloss on :)

I still have braces and you can make it look good. Confidence is the key! Just because you're going to have braces on,doesn't mean you can't wear bold colors or whatever you like. At first I was really adjusting to it and I became too conscious but you know what, it will get better and you'll get used to it. :)

I have braces..i think they're fine since everyone has or had them. After a week or two ull think they are fine and just think that when they are off they will look amazing

Braces are really hard to work with. I had them for years when I was a kid. It was kind of fun changing up the colored bands though.

I've had braces for almost two years (I'm getting them off within the month) and I found that pinks look best against white teeth and if you don't want to attract extra attention to them, either get black or grey (doesn't make them pop as much) hope this helps!

Lol I meant you'll look great with them too , after a little while people won't even notice , I've had braces for 3yrs I get them off this month and my great grandmother just realized I had braces . Theres nothing to worry about honestly ,just follow every single detail of the doctors orders and Brush and floss those gums till their pinker then hello kitty's bow  🎀

I've had braces for 4 months now. I can relate to being self conscious about your teeth even before the braces go on. I was the same way. The first day I had them I felt awful. I didn't even want to go back to work. But now my teeth are a lot straighter and I feel a lot better about my smile. Also.. If I may add I wear red lipsticks daily. I just blot my lips on a napkin right after applying to make sure I got all the excess off. You'll get used to them in about a month or so after they put them on. Just be confident. Sometimes I even forget I have braces. ;) best of luck.

in the past, i've worn braces for 5 years and honestly, "makeup" is NOT going to make them look better on you. If anything, you can tell your Ortho to put your favorite colored rubber bands. You looking good in braces really depends on how your face looks.

I have braces now ! They suck.. but hey it'll be worth it when they come off !(: My only tip to you is A. Don't get very bright colors for braces. You get tired of them easily trust me and B. don't get white ! They stain and make your teeth look yellow ! I was self conscious of them first but girl you can work them(:
