What is the best concealer to cover blemishes that does not have brightener or illuminator in it? I purchased YSL touche eclat thinking it was a concealer but it works more as a highlighter for me. I want something just to cover my blemishes and redness without illuminating my face at all.
your recommendations would really help me. thank you ^^

Try boi-ing from benefit. It's a good concealer for blemishes and it has anti-bacterial in it so if you get pimples it helps with that too.

Boing by benefit works well! However, it does get a little cakey if you accidentally layer it on too much, so remember a little goes a long way! Or you can wear it under your foundation.

You should try a corrector instead of a concealer. Corrector will neutralize the redness from the blemish and conceal it better than concealer. The best option is a cream base salmon color corrector you put on the blemish before applying foundation. Ask your makeup consultant at whatever makeup counter you go to. Or go on eBay and search. I have huge pimples sometimes and I'm telling from experience this will work for you.

I have probably used every concealer out there. Loovee concealer a clearly haha. So I've tried them all. I am currently in LOVE with Tarte Cosmetics concealer. Never thought I would like it more than a Dior or Makeup Forever. Seriously, give it a try. It is my secret weapon now! Doesn't cake, moisturizing, and cover everything like a charm! Hope this helps

Yes, there are even special lip products who hide the whole lip color and works as a primer. I always work up the side of my lips with some concealer. some even cover there intire lip with foundation to use it as a "primer"
