Hello everyone! A little bit about myself.. I am a professional freelance makeup artist. I've been doing makeup professionally & semi professionally for the last 4 years... but I've only recently begin to make it a serious career choice. I have several photographers in my area that I'm negotiating working with as well as a ton of freelance work I've been doing. the only problem is, I don't have a set price listing so I've been charging what I see is fit. I need help of what to charge. I am skilled and my specialty is brows and lashes, I just don't wanna get beat out of money. help! thanks in advance.

also if you rather email me that would be great as well, I'm friendly lol : Kiara.talbert@live.com

The best thing you need to do is research what the other freelance artists are charging for specific things like full face etc.

Next step is the cost of your products in your kit, if you buy expensive products then you would definitely want to have it covered even if it's just a small fraction of the full cost.

Travelling fee is pretty simple, I charge the client a small fee if I have to drive a fair distance from my location to theirs but since I live 30 minutes in any direction in my tiny town, no fee is applicable. Only when it's over 40 minutes away.

I hope I help.
