How do you make any specialty braids or a waterfall braid?

How do you make any specialty braids? I know how to make a regular and fishtail but that's it. I want to know how to do more. A waterfall braid is one I want to learn but there are also many more I want to know how. Please tell me how. If you want to know what I look like so you can see my type of hair look below.

Start French brading from the side and once it's tight drop the bottom section of your hair and add another from your hair just keep repeating this and secure with either an elastic or kirby pin.
