Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone can tell me what the difference is between using a sponge and using a brush? Which one is better?

The main difference between using a sponge and a brush is coverage. A sponge will give you more coverage with your foundation while using a brush will give you lighter coverage. Also, many people continue to use the same sponge over and over which traps bacteria and will then cause you to break out. If you use a new sponge each time though, that shouldn't be a problem.

So one isn't necessary 'better' than the other. It just depends on what type of coverage you're looking for.

I particularly like using my sponge vs my brush but you do need to make sure to use clean sponges or you get break outs
