Hair spray it before you curl and after you curl, don't run your finger through it. And use an extreme hold hairspray.

Do you have naturally straight, fine hair?

I also have really thick hair, but I curl mine with a straightener. The curls stay in for at least 2 days!! I suggest you watch tutorials on YouTube. Its hard to learn at first, but totally worth it!

@Hailey are you using a curling or flat iron? one way to get your curls to stay is after you curl each piece don't drop it immediately. hold the curl in your hand until it cools down then let it go.

Hairspray before you curl (wait until it dries), pin curl after you curl (for a few mins until the hair is totally cool).

Hairspray it and if that doesn't work, try a hair primer. You can get them at Sephora.

You have to use a curling iron. When taking sections of hair only take the same size as your tool. Ex: Curling iron has a 1inch barrel, your section in your hair your about to curl should be the same. Lightly spray your hair shaft with a medium or strong hold hairspray. With the iron open slightly run the barrel gently down your hair, clamp half an inch away from the tip and curl!
Good Luck Have Patience you'll get the hang of it.

This is what I do with my Karmin Clipless and it might work for you. Put some light holding heat protectant spray on the piece of hair you're going to curl and wrap it around the barrel for 5 seconds or more. Not more than 10 seconds because you'll damage your hair. Then, pin up the curl and go on to the next piece of hair. Once the pinned up curls are cool, let them down and use a teeny bit of holding spray. Don't use too much product or it will weigh down on the curls and flatten them.

Try done pin curls. After curling your hair, pin it in a round circle and lightly mist with hairspray and let it cool. YouTube pincurls.
