I am happy with my hair length (under boobs). My hair is thick and holds moisture good. It has split ends too. When my hair is straight, there are no curves to it. It sticks straight out instead of curving. Would thinning my hair solve this problem? Would it damage it? Pros and cons?

Maybe it could be because it has so many split ends?

You can get it thinned out with scissors. I don't think it would damage it. its like getting a trim. just ask for texture all over.

Don't do it! I thinned my hair and it never got back to its real thickness I regret doing it I have to wear extensions to make my hair look full.

I had really thick hair too, I still feel like I do thinning it out did help out a lot. If you don't want your hair to be to thin just let the hairdresser know you would only like to get it thinned out a bit. I had the opposite problem with my ends they wouldn't stay straight, instead they would curl in and that's cause the the ends of the hair are dead and need to be cut. This is what my hairdresser told me. Hope this helped!!

If you thin out your hair, eventually it! will grow back but ull have really short hair at the top, and as out grows it will create fizzies like a crown on your head. so I don't reccomend doing it.
