The soles are serious. they're thick and have lots of grip, but the material isn't warm like uggs or furry boots and they can be very heavy to walk around in depending on the style you get.

I have some and I love them. They have great grip! I wear them when it rains. And yeah they're not warm like brittany said. I don't know how they would do in the snow tho:(

Thanks girls! I was just wondering since I have to walk up/down a steep hill on my way to school and we get some pretty harsh winters in the UK 😁

Jeez tell me about the snow in the uk, I live on a hill in the north west and in feb/march/April when the snow was really bad I had to walk up and down to get to my car to go to school everday! They were perfect! I hate snow, except for when school closes;) one day I'm march the snow was so bad that there were only 10 teachers at my school. There are normally like 50 teachers;O.

They have the best grip and I'd suggest getting a size bigger so you can wear two pairs of socks in the winter and then tie them tight every other season.
