Waterproof mascara?? Yay or nay?

So mixing 2 different mascaras make my eyelashes look really good, but I ran out of mascara. So I was going to get one non-waterproof one and one waterproof one. I was going to put the regular mascara on and then the waterproof. But then I read that waterproof mascaras aren't very good for your eyelashes. Should I get both mascaras regular or one waterproof?

I use a non waterproof as a primer then but the waterproof

Get regular. Waterproof mascara is unnecessary I believe unless youre going in water... Plus it is harsher on your lashes.
