I was wondering...

If you do henna, on the same spot, same shape, all the time - will it end up staining your skin in an irreversible way that you can't take off?

Thanks for your comments! <3 =)

I'm pretty sure it wouldnt, even if it stained, it wouldn't be like a permanent tattoo. :)

Yeah the girls are rightit wouldn't be permanent, the only henna that would be is black henna which is dangerous as it scars, hence the permanent element. I would NOT suggest using that.

Depending which henna you got brown or black, the brown doesn't stain, the black one is dangerous like Meg K said.

Nah don't worry, I used to get henna tattoes all the time... They can last up to a month and a half but it gradually washes off.

Alright! Thanks gals for the info. =D.

2 weeks are maximum for henna to stay on :). If you want it work like a tattoo, renew the henna after a week so the colour won't fade :)

Actually it can stay forever because in a few countries they mix henna with some chemicals that can lead to an acid reaction and burn like into your skin. always get the pure natural stuff.

And @christina s. they use a hair dye with henna. if it doesn't smell like hair dye then its safe to use also will wash off.

Henna stains the top layers of skin, so no it will always fade.
