Whenever I braid my wet hair to get waves overnight, the waves come out within 5 minutes. But when I try to get waves using hot tools, it won't wort either! How can I get it to stay in or work?

Have you tried having 4 braids rather than two? It comes out smaller but it may stay in better.

Also if you're plaiting it loose maybe try tighter plaits

Try, braiding a lot of different braids not just one or two.

I do two pigtail French braids and it works perfectly!dry your hair with a towel after a shower then braid it.
