Try wearing something not to happy like you say and try wearing darker coulours but it doesent really have to be black :/

Anything a darker shade. if you have a dark sweater, wear that over it If you can. They also say not to wear red, But Idk if you want to follow that.

Just wear whatever you like! atleast, thats what I did to funerals. If the happy color clothes is you, than why not go as yourself to the funeral?! and I'll hope you make it good throughout that day, funerals aren't fun:(

Try to wear darker colors. I went to a funeral on Friday and I wore dark colors.
