I'm planning on getting Uggs soon. I've never owned a pair because I've always gravitated towards combat boots like Doc Martens & sneakers. But now that I'll be stating my first year of college, I wanted a shoe that I can just slip on & go. Also something that provides comfort (I have Rheumatoid Arthritis) more so than combat boots or sneakers. What are your takes on Uggs? Are they worth 100+ (I'm not really worried about price, but DO want the most bang for my buck)? Will my color fade? Will they stretch and crease in a short time? Do they provide comfort & support? Mini or tall uggs? Things I need to know? I've read many reviews, but they all give me basic ideas about the shoe.

I've owned maybe 3 pairs of uggs and I have loved them all. they would be great for your RA. Get a short pair and I would recommend a dark color because it goes with everything! when you purchase them, make sure to also buy the cleanser and brush, it's a few extra bucks but it will keep them clean and resistant against snow and ice I'm the winter. they are very comfy and can be worn with anything, and easy I slip on! it's an expensive shoe but with last you a long time with the right care and maintenance! hope that helped

Uggs are comfortable I own about 7 pairs there easy to style there warm but some people will say there heavy but I think that depends on the person but so they won't fade even threw the rainy days they have a kit that works good but you also have to do your part in taking care of them.but combat boots are easy to slip on too depends on what you really want.

Personally I refuse to buy uggs from the actual ugg brand since they basically torture their sheep to get the wool off them. But I bought a vegan pair of uggs and oh my god I understand why girls wear them so much!! They're extremely light and comfortable!! So warm too! Even when it's minus 30 Celsius in Alberta here my feet are still toasty warm! It's like wearing slippers everywhere ^w^ I got mine from iron fist for 40 bucks but they've got a big skull on them. If you like creepy shit then iron fist is cool otherwise I'd suggest some knock offs.

Oh and to answer a few of your questions mine lasted the entire winter and look the exact same as when I got them minus a tiny bit of creasing. Also they suck for support but are very comfy. I'd go with tall ones just cause I think they look better and depending on where you live (I get a lot of snow where I'm from) you don't want snow falling in your shoes haha!

I owm two pairs.
Tall chestnut and short black ones.
Personally I like the short ones so wear with skinny jeans tucked in or flare/bootcut jeans pulled over.
My black ones have faded and it's been about 2-3 years, but you can still tell they're black.
the tall ones... omg they are so warm!! they do crease but when you buy them, they have cardboard in them, I recommend you keep those inside when you don't wear them. And make sure you spray them! There's a special spray you can buy.

I've had pairs and I haven't really been impressed. They crease and attract a lot of dirt and for me they were way too warm to wear besides on the coldest winter days.

I just think there are better boots and shoes in general out there.

As far as support, they don't have a lot... they cave to your feet but the arch isn't supportive enough for me.

Apsolutely amazing!! I've owned cheap pairs and they go gross, smelly and the inside wears out so quick but with the actual uggs they never smell, they're still black and the bottom has lasted so long especially considering I wear then EVVVVVERYDAY.

After reading all the comments I guess the uggs I got will be the last, but in case you do decide to get them they are very comfy they lasted a long time with me but I dnt wear them everyday and I recommend getting the short ones with button I think they're the cutest and black would be a better choice to prevent early color damage especially when your paying that much for them , other than that they're cute easy to wear and worth every penny.
