Is this backpack okay for school?

I've had this backpack for a year now, and with all these different types of backpacks I've just been confused on whether to get a new one or stick with this one until it's end? It holds all my stuff for school ( I had to get 6 binders, one for each class, this year. Talk about confusing! ) and even more, But most of my friends have more "Up to date" backpacks, as they would say. One of my ex-friends even asked me if I was going hiking after school one day, and it really hurt me.
Should I get a new backpack? I got a picture from online since I couldn't get a good quality photo. It's a Swissgear and it was on clearance at target when I first got it for 9 bucks, a steal from it's 40 dollar original price.

I was looking at this backpack at Target, since this is what basically everyone is hyping about, and I tried it out in the store while I was getting my binders for school, and it barely fit 3 of them in it..

If its a good quality backpack then stick with it or you could go with a girlies backpack, I find that Roots backpacks are really good quality and they have some cute ones. I noticed that all the nice one that look really good are small and have NO SPACE so I'd go with a Roots bag. And don't listen to that girl, she's just trying to bring you down.

Honestly just get the one thats more useful, its school not going out somewhere :p people know its not part of your outfit ahha, just wear cute things! :)

Don't pick a backpack that you don't think suits you / that you don't even like, which it seems like you're doing with that target bag. But if you really want to change your backpack, you can't go wrong with a plain black one.

You could get the second backpack but still keep the other one. One week you can wear the one you already have and the other week you can wear the second backpack and carry a few binders on your hands. But it's really up to you(=
