Is it good? I wanted to try something for my short hair but don't know what brand or product.

How short is your hair, and what would you like to achieve with the product? I've not used that paste in particular, but I can definitely recommend some products if I know what you're after.
(What strength of hold, shine, texture, etc)

For the longer part, I would use a tiny bit of any medium hold mousse for hold (especially if your curl it). For the sides though, a paste would be good. I really like bed head's manipulator because a little goes a very very very long way and provides shine, definition, and hold all in one. And when I say you only need a little, I mean it. I just barely touch the top and that's enough for my sides. Kenras texture taffy is also a really good one, same pros at the BH. Short sexy hair makes some excellent products, but I've not used them in a while so I can't really recommend one specifically.
