Some people have complained about the elf essentials and they're not great, but I just got the Elf Studio brush set and it's AMAZING! It's 11 pieces and they're so nice, they're comparable to my sigma brushes and my Mac ones

Real techniques are awesome brushes! You really only need to buy the purple and orange pack and you're set. They're like $17 a pack and come with I think 5 brushes? A lot of makeup gurus use them too I think. It's really all I need, I don't see the need for 30 brushes haha.
