I kind of disagree with the intensity thing... I have glasses, and the frames are plastic, so they're a little thicker and they cast shadows (although I guess any frame would do that). If I put on more makeup, and do crazier colors, it starts to look weird.
I usually go with a light eyeshadow, either a pretty pale pink or a light shimmery gold. If I wear eyeshadow, then I just curl my eyelashes, and add a touch of mascara at the base of my lashes, and don't do eyeliner.
Or, I wear a thin line of eyeliner and no eyeshadow. I don't extend the line very far, because then it starts to run into the frame and it looks strange. I prefer a dark brown over black because it is warmer in comparison to my black frames and the dark shadows they cast in certain lighting. Subtle colored liners also work pretty well, if I want to dress it up a little.
A must for me is curling my lashes. Depending on the mascara, my eyelashes can get longer and brush against the glass. Instead, I curl them and put a little mascara, but only at the base of the lashes. I don't buy lengthening mascara, and I don't extend it all the way up, but it depends on how long your lashes are.
When I wear my contacts, I often use an eyeliner brush and a dark chocolate shadow for eyeliner, but I don't do that when I wear my glasses because the shadow doesn't make as solid of a line, and it starts to look like a shadow.
Also, try to avoid oily lids. A pale/nude shadow, or a little dabbing with your fingers really helps. Things that would look "dewy" without glasses tend to look "shiny" with glasses, especially under bad lighting.
And if you get/wear contacts, remember to always look for "contact safe" or "for sensitive eyes" products! And experiment! How it looks will depend on your eye color, shape, frames, and even the thickness of your lenses (really thick lenses can distort your eye shape).
Sorry that's so long, I just always end up writing more than I mean to...

When I use my glasses, I wear a white or pink eye shadow on my lid to make it stand out through the glass. With a black liquid eyeliner do a cat eye and follow by doing a smokey eye with a neutral color with little shimmer (I use Clinique's Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Lilac Truffle). Final step mascara on top and bottom lashes and don't forget to fill in your eyebrows. Hope this helps.

You can wear virtually any look you want to. The only thing is you may need to intensify it a little bit so it can show through the frames.

I wear my glasses from time to time and I don't follow any special rules in regards to my make-up. The only thing I have to watch for is my lashes. If I wear a set that's too long they tend to brush up against the lenses which is very annoying thus forcing me to shove them further down the bridge of nose making me look like a little old betty.lol

I also wear glasses and do not follow any special rules. I just wear what I'm feeling! But this is because if I go very neutral with my eye, I try to make my lips more bold =}

I tend to not let my eyeshadow extend past my frames, otherwise it looks pretty odd :P

Try a silver smoky eye, that's usually what I do when I wear my glasses and it works pretty well for me

I do colored eyeliners or shadows on my lower lash line or a double winged eyeliner. That's if I'm wearing my glasses. ^_^ Oww or glitter liner on the bottom lash line.

If u wear glasses try a color eye shadow or liner that over looks your glasses and over expresses the color of your glasses.:) I wear glasses aswell.

You can also decrease the amount of makeup to show true beauty, youself just being you. I mean is there really a reason to pack on makeup when you can put little of everything. Less is always more!:)

I agree with shelly, too! You can do whatever you want! Don't let your glasses hold you back!

Don't let the glasses be a hinderance when it comes to colors, etc. The only thing that is a no-no....don't let the eyeshadow and/or liner extend beyond the frame.

Make those lashes pop! Use a good mascara and make sure add some eyeliner but don't abuse it; do it in a way that it compliments the shape of your eyes and makes your eye color stand out. I wear glasses all the time and I'm not a big fan of putting on a lot of make-up so I just come up with ways to maneuver out of the whole adding too much to the eyes. I also found out that coloring in your eyebrows really help as well :)

On the days you wanna switch things up you could put the focus on your cheeks or lips! A bold red lip or bright pink is always fresh.

I usually do a shimmery champagne color on my lid and on my lower lash line and black liner. I dont put a lot of mascara on when I wear glasses because my lashes always hit them and it gets really obnoxious :P

I don't think you have to do anything special with your makeup. I have pretty big frames on mine (Ray-Ban Wayfarers) that I have to wear for reading and I just do my normal makeup since I won't be wearing them all day anyway. I honestly don't feel like my eyes look hidden or anything even with larger frames, so I think you'll be fine. If you will be wearing yours all day, I'd say just focus on highlighting your inner corner and browbone to bring a bit of light to your eye and the area around it, and just make sure your mascara doesn't make your lashes so big that things get awkward and make them uncomfortable to wear all day.

Kayla, as a number of girls on here have said, the glasses should not hinder wearing any makeup. x
