Would You Recomend The Garnier Curl Shaping Spray Gel

I have long, curly (between 2a and 2b) blonde hair and its very frizzy. I usually use Sedal's Obidient Curls product ( the green bottle) but it doesnt control or define my curls. I was wondering if anyone would recomend the garnier curl shaping spray gel for me. I was also wondering if you put it everywhere including the roots because my hair tends to get greasy if I apply products from the roots.
