Try blotting a purifying toner onto your forehead every night. Almost every skin care brand offers a toner, but make sure it contains salycilic acid. This specifically targets any impurities in the skin and flushes them out. I will also suggest Bioré pore strips for forehead. You may not have ever used them, but they are strips you apply to the skin which harden after about ten minutes. When you peel it off, you will see all of the dirt and gunk that was in your pores on the strip. They really work I love them :)

Maybe you could try cetaphil antibacterial gentle cleansing bar. My dermatologist recommend it to me and it works pretty well. Maybe it could work on your skin too :)

Definitely go to the dermatologist! I used to break out horribly on my forehead and then I was prescribed tretenoin lotion which cleans your pores from the inside our and also clindomiacin plegets which kill the bacteria!

Pore strips actually make your skin worse. I work at Clinique and have learned a lot about how to control my acne prone skin. I agree that the spot healing gel works wonders, but something to think about is proper skincare. Try a gentle cleanser (Clinique Mild Liquid Soap), an exfoliator (Clinique's 7-Day Scrub Cream), a clarifying lotion/toner, and an oil free moisturizer.
