I'm going to get a lot of flack for this...but here we go.I love animals, I really do. Many QUALITY makeup brands are REQUIRED to test on animals to sell their products in a different country. Some of my favorite makeup brands have begun to test on animals...however I have yet to stop buying from them because they continue to produce quality products.
Are all of the people boycotting these products also vegetarian?
If not, why are you boycotting these makeup lines when you too are harming animals because of your dietary choices?
Are you also going to boycott your local grocery store?

I think this is a great topic, I'm against animal testing because there are other ways to test that actually are more accurate its just because its cheaper that's what some companies choose to do. I'm a vegan and have been for years, but even when I wasn't I did not agree with animal testing for make up. I also think food and make up are in two totally different topics. I just feel so bad for animals who suffer, many in very bad ways, just for me to have a lipstick. There are a ton of companies who don't test that are really great, however it does make me sad that Mac and urban decay are no longer 100% cruelty free, so I'll just have to find a new make line to choose from, which is kinda fun. I know its something I care deeply about and I feel the need to stand uo for what I believe in, but other ppl don't mind, were all different and that is what makes the world go round right.

And I don't think I would boycott a super market, I need to eat, I don't make up I enjoy and love it but certainly don't need it to sustain life. And there are many companies that choose not to sell cosmetics to the countries that REQUIRE animal testing such as china, it comes down to what you believe in and standing up for it.
