Hey beauties, I am plus sized and pear shaped and I'm just wondering what would look good on a pear shape? I also have a bigger chest (DD) but I'm still bigger on the bottom, plus I'm short (5'1). Any tips on how to dress for my body type? Thanks in advance! :)

I think peplums are great for pare shapes! I am personally pare shaped, and I think peplums look really nice!

April really? I've always been afraid of peplums, thinking they would make me look huge.

Bright colours on top and a darker skirt or pant to slim down your legs and maybe some heels ;)

Do you like solid colord print dresses? two piece pant outfits xlarge for the top (depending on your top size)... consider not tucking in the top :)

I agree, I'm a pear shape and my waist is my smallest part so I love peplums because they flatter my waist and cover my hips :)

High waisted anything makes you butt look good and your waist look small!

Wear a belt around your waist, because it flatters the slimmest part of your midsection. Peplum tops are also great. Also, for some reason, green makes your chest and stomach look bigger, so avoid the color green! Also avoid low rise pants. Hope I helped, I know how hard it is sometimes to find clothes that flatter pear shapes!

I like peasant tops that accentuate my bust, I am an hourglass/pear (my hips are 1.5 inches bigger than my chest. So I try to draw the eye up for balance. Also I really like cowl necks, because they add a bit of flourish up, again.. bringing the line of sight up instead of down where it would normally go around my hips and bottom.
