Question about getting highlights.

Hi ladies! I'm getting my hair highlighted again tomorrow. My question is, I have my hair curly right now should I wash and straighten it for the highlights? Or would I be okay just going in with my curly dirty hair?

If you used product to make it curly I would comb it with a wet brush to get that excess product out.
